Brendan J. Kavanagh, Esquire

Brendan Kavanagh has over 32 years of experience in criminal practice and has worked in multiple courts as a public defender. Admitted to practice law more than 32 years ago, Brendan founded Kavanagh & Kavanagh Law Office, his own law firm, in 2001 in the beautiful and historic downtown district of Millville, NJ.


Brendan concentrates his practice in the areas of personal injury, municipal court, criminal defense litigation, real estate law, and wills and estates. Brendan is the current solicitor for the Cumberland County Fair Association, and he is outside special counsel for the Cumberland County Adjuster's Office. He is also the former solicitor and county counsel for the County of Cumberland and the city of Franklin Township. He is also the former solicitor for the Office of Employment and Training.


Brendan currently serves as the public defender for the Millville Municipal Court and serves as the hearing officer for the Vineland Housing Authority. He is the chairman of the JPAC, a committee of attorneys that vets potential nominees for the judiciary. He is the chairman of the Cumberland County Bar Foundation Golf Tournament, which raises funds for local charities. He has been practicing for over 32 years and is a member of the Cumberland County Bar Foundation, which oversees the distribution of money to local charities. Brendan currently concentrates on providing the highest level of legal representation to all his clients.


Brendan is an active volunteer in a wide range of local charities and fundraisers. He is also past president of the Cumberland County Bar Association, a former trustee for the Millville Police Athletic League (PAL), and former chairman of the Millville Democratic Executive Committee.


Victoria S. Kavanagh, Esquire

Born and raised in New Jersey, Victoria Kavanagh graduated from Rutgers University with honors in 1990 and then obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993 with distinguished cum laude honors. Furthermore, she is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.


Victoria Kavanagh has been practicing law for over 32 years. Initially, Victoria was associated with the Law Offices of J.R. Julian in Wilmington, Delaware, where she concentrated in the areas of civil litigation and trial advocacy. Upon returning to New Jersey in 1995 to raise her family, she began specializing in workers’ compensation claims, social security disability, and personal injury. She has successfully represented 100s of clients over the past 32 years. She has recovered millions of dollars for her clients. Victoria has been designated one of the 10 Best Attorneys in client satisfaction by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys. Present member and trustee of the Cumberland County Board.


Victoria is active in her community, having coached many soccer teams and assisted in community fundraisers. She is a former trustee of the Cumberland County Bar Association Foundation and present trustee of the Cumberland County Bar, a present member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the prior New Jersey Commission on Health and Safety, Inn of the Court for Workers’ Compensation, and the District I Fee Arbitration Committee Office of Attorney Ethics. As chairperson of the Fee Arbitration Committee, Victoria has dedicated her time to ensuring fair billing practices within the legal community.
